Barilla Farfalle pasta is made from superior durum wheat; known to cook perfectly; holds shape and texture for more consistency and less waste; resists sticking, clumping and breaking. Farfalle, known as bow-tie, actually means butterfly in Italian. This shape is ideal when paired with intense fragrances and flavors such as light sauces with vegetables and fish, dairy-based sauces and simple oil-based sauces.
