Flahavan’s mill is situated in the small village of Kilmacthomas, Co. Waterford and has been an independent family business for over 200 years. They use milling techniques handed down over generations to create perfect porridge oats. The unspoiled local environment and mild wet climate is ideal for growing the finest oats. At harvest time Flahavan’s take in their new season oats, drying and storing them for the year ahead. Because their oats are less processed, they keep their natural wholesome texture and flavour, the result is a warm nourishing bowl of Flahavan’s.
