Description
Salsa Verde is a daily staple on the streets of Mexico City and Peubla, where locals pour it over enchiladas and fish dishes in particular. It’s naturally very healthy, with up to 15 X less sugar compared to ketchup or sweet chilli sauce and made from fresh, 100% natural, fire-roasted vegetables, chillies and spices!
This Salsa combines tangy, citrusy flavours with herby undertones, finished off with a signature blast of heat.
It has a refreshing and slightly sharp flavour, created using a traditional method of fire roasting fresh tomatoes, peppers and onions over fire and infusing them with Jalapeño chillies, lime juice, and a blend of Latin spices, before blitzing to create a truly authentic salsa.
Our Salsa Verde isn’t like the lumpy, bland stuff you’ve seen in jars. It’s authentic, pourable, and packed with flavour. So drizzle it over your eggs at breakfast, squeeze it on a sandwich at lunch, or pour it over tacos for dinner. It also works wonders as a versatile cook in sauce or as a marinade for chicken, pork or beef.
