Erwin Tinhof is the 11th generation of the Tinhof family making wine in the sub-region of Leithaberg, Burgenland, located in Austria’s south-east corner close to the border with Hungary. Organically certified for a number of years, Erwin likes to promote indigenous grapes like Neuburger, Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt.
Made from 100% Blaufrankisch, this is a wine for fans of more subtle and complex wines weighing in somewhere between medium and full body.
Tasting notes:
Soft tannins with notes of cherry, blue fruit and wild herbs.
